Deep Blue Geometrical Blanket

All Little Otavalo products are handmade by the indigenous people of the Andes Mountains in Ecuador’s Otavalo City. As such, Little Otavalo uses alpaca wool because of its elegant fibers, which are warmer, lighter, and stronger than cashmere.

Our Andes blankets are light and gentle to the touch. Perfected through craft over the years this blanket provides warmth and comfort for even the coldest of nights. A perfect gift for the holidays with over 10 Color patterns to chose from at any given time in our shop.

Do you find standard wool blankets to be scratchy? Alpaca wool is hypoallergenic, which makes it the opposite of itchy — rather, alpaca wool feels soft and warm against the skin. To achieve that key balance of comfort and warmth, Little Otavalo uses a blend of Alpaca 40% and Acrylic 60% in every blanket. Our queen size is a great fit! The same blankets can accommodate a King size bed, but won't drape as far over the sides.
